Ecem Seker of AT Airporttransfer Limited .

Tell us about yourself…

Head of Business Development in Airporttransfer.com, I have enourmous interest in psychology, prehistoria, and archaeology

I have worked for eight years in education travel industry and studied Tourist Guidance as bachelor which means I always like to be in the tourism and travel industry and helped people mobility.

What lessons have an entrepreneur taught you?

Life itself is already a lesson. By searching for the meaning of life, I understand I only can be an essential adult if only I do something beneficial for the community.

If you could go back in time to when you first started your business, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

Calmness and determination are my greatest strength.

Working in a startup environment is full of unknown actions.

Those actions someday found answers that are more obvious than you imagine.

Many entrepreneurs find it challenging to balance their work and personal lives. How have you found that?

If your job is your hobby, there is no need to separate your work from your social life.

Our passion and ambition in our work have never made us think that we must separate our personal lives from our roles.

Please give us a bit of an insight into the influences behind the company.

Our motivation derives from our passion for being a fresh company, and if things are going well for more than a year, doing the work will be appreciated even more in the future.

That influences us in a good way.

What do you think is your magic sauce? What sets you apart from the competitors?

We do not know what it is to be tired at all.

All details should be considered on time. Customers can find actual humans rather than automatized chatbots.

We have always been real humans for partners and customers!

How have you found sales so far? Do you have any lessons you could pass on to other founders in the same market as you just starting?

Yes. Already. Just would like to point out that patience is the best key to success. Initially, we were craving to sell more, which was an impatience behaviour.

What is the biggest challenge in your business, and how did you overcome it?

Every day is a new challenge for us because this is a business in which you must challenge yourself to serve the best.

What do you find are the advantages of operating your business in London?

Improve our reach. Our business is expanding and wants access to readily accessible infrastructure and networks, and the capital is a great choice.

Are there any issues with having a London-based business? Have you experienced these?

As a company grows, there are always operational issues to go along with its progress; many businesses are faced with issues and problems that can feel challenging to manage.

Now that our company has dealt with the problems of getting off the ground, it’s essential to have solutions in place so you can overcome growing pains when they arise.

How has the higher-than-UK average cost of living impacted your ability to work and live in London, and how has this also impacted your ability as an employer?

Yes. As the covid 19 pandemic, side effects still exist. It affects our partners and us.

If you had to relocate your business to another city in the U.K., which one would it be and why?

I don’t think we would, as we are an online platform. Already spread the world.

How has BREXIT impacted your business (if at all)?

Brexit changes the formal relationship between the U.K. and the E.U.

It creates new trade restrictions between the U.K. and the rest of Europe and limits the ability of British citizens to move as freely around the E.U.

As an online marketplace that works globally, it impacted us by doing payouts to our partners residing in the E.U. through online banking channels.

What is your vision for your company in the next five years?

We don’t want to seem assertive, but we did that much in a short time. Let’s say in 5 years you’ll be asking us: how you could manage to make them all in only five years?

And finally, if people want to get involved and learn more about your business, how should they do that?

They can contact us with no hesitation. Any questions will be highly appreciated.

We want to meet any person or business interested in our company.
