Disa Sanstorn: London Is a Global City – Which Gives Us Access to Companies Globally and Amazing Talent

September 20, 2022

Disa Sanstorn of YgEia3 LTD.

Tell us about yourself?

I am currently the President of Europe for YgEia3. I started at the company as an Account Executive. I have been in business development for my entire processional career.

What lessons has being an entrepreneur taught you?

I was hired as an Account Executive and treated my position as my own business, and wanted to generate revenue and profit for my business, and with that success YgEia3 has grown and so have I.

If you could go back in time to when you first started your business, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

To not get down on yourself about early success, it takes time to build a proper base for success, but to continue learning, and listening.

A lot of entrepreneurs find it difficult to balance their work and personal lives. How have you found that?

Work life balance will always be a bloody challenge! I find you have to hit the pause button, and recharge both physically and mentally.

Give us a bit of an insight into the influences behind the company?

The reason I joined the company is because of the advanced testing, and our ability to assist our clients with a value add for their employees.

What do you think is your magic sauce? What sets you apart from the competitors?

Our magic sauce has been our delivery system, and our laboratory results. We make it easy for our clients to get laboratory results about their wellness.

How have you found sales so far? Do you have any lessons you could pass on to other founders in the same market as you just starting out?

We continue to see good growth, and we continue to grow globally, and with new products coming online in 2023 we see it continuing.

What is the biggest challenge you have faced so far in your business, and how did you overcome it?

A big challenge for us has always been operational support, as a mid sized company this is something we are always pushing to improve.

What do you find are the advantages of operating your business in London?

London is a global city! Which gives us access to companies globally and amazing talent.

Are there any issues with having a London based business? Have you experienced these?

No, we have not experienced any issue with having our HQ based in London.

How has the higher than UK average cost of living impacted your ability to work and live in London and how has this also impacted your ability as an employer?

We are always sensitive to this issue for our employees, and we continue to evolve.

If you had to relocate your business to another city in the UK, which one would it be and why?

We will not be moving from London. I would say no city in UK.

How has BREXIT impacted your business (if at all)?

It has not had any impact at this time.

What is your vision for your company in the next 5 years?

To continue growing our operational staff, and continue growing the YgEia3 brand.

And finally, if people want to get involved and learn more about your business, how should they do that?

Email is the best way to reach out, or reach us on our social networks, and learn more about YgEia3.
