Key Takeaways:

  1. Edenred is appointed as the exclusive provider across all six categories in the new UK public sector buying framework for employee benefits.
  2. The framework simplifies the process for public sector organizations to choose and appoint a supplier for employee benefits products.
  3. The move allows various public sector bodies to join over 900 existing Edenred clients.

A Comprehensive Solution for the Public Sector

Edenred, a global leader in digital platforms for services and payments, has been selected as a supplier of choice for employee benefits for the UK public sector under the Crown Commercial Service’s new buying framework. Unique to its appointment, Edenred will be the sole provider offering services across all six categories in this new framework, emphasizing its comprehensive capability in this arena.

The Employee Benefits & Services Framework

The new Employee Benefits & Services framework (RM6273) aims to provide a straightforward route for all UK public sector organizations to choose and appoint a supplier for a wide array of employee benefits products. The six lots covered by Edenred are Managed Services (EEP), Reward & Recognition, Financial Wellbeing, Cycle to Work, Childcare & Payroll Giving, and Technology & Smartphones.

This inclusive scope allows government departments, local authorities, schools, further education colleges, universities, blue-light services, and arms-length public sector organizations to join over 900 public sector clients already benefiting from Edenred’s employee benefits, rewards, and recognition solutions.

An Expert in the Field

Colin Hodgson, sales director, Edenred UK, expressed his delight at being recognized as the only supplier across all lots on this prestigious buying framework. “With over 20 years’ experience of working with public sector employers, we’ve built a bespoke set of solutions that meet the specific needs of public sector buyers and the way their organisations work,” Hodgson said.

Hodgson emphasised Edenred’s commitment to providing easy-to-implement, digital, and accessible platforms, enabling clients to promptly roll out a comprehensive suite of benefits and services for their employees. This commitment targets challenges such as talent attraction, retention, engagement, and motivation. The director also praised the high satisfaction ratings Edenred consistently receives from both clients and their employees.

The new framework goes live on 26 May 2023.
