New players have entered the talent marketplace in New York City, and they plan to make waves in the technology space. Storm3 and Storm4 are already turning heads with their expertise in finding top talent for the HealthTech and GreenTech sector.

Leaders Lauren Ellis and Ross Byrne are dedicated to solving a major pain point for tech businesses in the East Coast region – the hiring and retention of high-quality talent.

In New York, Lauren Ellis will lead a team of 16 expert consultants, all specialists in Health Technology hiring. Storm3 covers a range of spaces within the HealthTech industry including Clinical Trials Tech, Digital Therapeutics, Digital Health Insurance, Family and Fertility Tech, Genomics and more. Under Lauren’s leadership, the team projects growth to be a headcount of 60 by the end of 2023, focusing on building a market-leading database of digital health talent.

The HealthTech recruitment powerhouse was founded in 2020, by Clare Cooper, a time when focus on health became more prominent than ever. Clare had a vision to build the most powerful and efficient HealthTech talent ecosystem globally. Since launching, Storm3 has worked with hundreds of clients from the HealthTech industry such as Wellinks and ShareCare. With a global headcount of 167, the team is driven by the desire to connect extraordinary talent with health organisations to make a real difference in the health industry.

GreenTech leader Storm4 was founded in 2020 by Kayleigh Bottomley to help scale businesses at the cutting edge of clean innovations to curb the defining crisis of our generation: climate change. As the effects of climate change become increasingly more tangible, Kayleigh saw an opportunity to disrupt the energy sector and create a brand which seeks to provide solutions to these challenges. Since its launch, Storm4 has worked with dozens of clients from the GreenTech industry such as EVCS and Fermata Energy. With a global headcount of 127, the team is driven by the desire to match extraordinary talent with Climate organisations to make an impactful difference in the Green industry.

Ross Byrne will lead a team of 16 consultants in the New York offices, all specialists in GreenTech technology recruitment. Storm4 covers a range of spaces within the GreenTech industry including AgTech, Circular Economy, Clean Energy, Decarbonization, Energy Storage and more. Under Ross’ leadership, the team projects growth of tripling their headcount by the end of 2023.

Both brands launching offices in this region mean the teams are better equipped to serve their expanding markets.

Kayleigh Bottomley, CEO and Founder of Storm4 has said: “I am thrilled for the team to be touching down on US soil. Over 80% of our customer base is in North America so to be able to physically meet our candidates and clients is something we have been looking forward to since our launch two years ago. Storm4 has grown to over 100 consultants globally in two years and has helped over 100 clients in NAM find amazing talent to impact climate change using technology. I am excited to continue our growth journey in this incredible space that is literally changing the world in a positive way.”

The launch of the New York office marks the brand’s fourth location, joining existing offices in London, Amsterdam, and Singapore, further solidifying its position as a global leader in the industry. With the expansion of its global network talent, the brand is confident that it will better serve its clients, particularly those looking to expand into the East coast and other areas around the globe.

Clare Cooper, CEO and Founder of Storm3 has said: “I am so excited for the launch of the US offices. Global expansion has always been the goal for us here at Storm3 and to be able to continue this journey in the Big Apple is something that has been in the works for a while so, I’m extremely excited! I can’t wait to see how the team grow and develop over the next few months.”
